I’m an average guy in my mid 40s. I hate going to the gym.
I no longer have to.
As of this year, I canceled my gym membership for good. I’m taking my health into my own hands. I’m combining bodyweight exercises with some running and lots of walking, and improving the quality of my diet by eating a (mostly) paleo diet.
I’m more or less following The Primal Blueprint. There’s some overlap with Crossfit here too–eating well, doing intense exercises..just not actually pumping iron.
I think it’s healthier; and I feel more in touch with life itself and with the world around me.
